T-Mobile BlackBerry 8800
March 4, 2008
My TMobile BlackBerry 8800 is one of the newest and most popular phones the company has available in today’s market. I am writing this review first because I personally own a BlackBerry 8800; so I am able to share my own views and experience with this innovative gadget. Upon purchase, you will notice a small sized and light weight device with a fully packed bundle of features. The BlackBerry 8800 features everything from speaker phone and text messaging to Internet and corporate e-mail/ network options. The downfall of this device is the scroll ball. Although, at first this feature seems pioneering and handy, you will soon discover that this scroll ball isn’t much more than a bother. After having this phone for about two months, I was starting to have problems with the scroll wheel getting stuck. It would not scroll either up or down. Sometimes, this would be the case for a few minutes, and other times this problem would last for over a week. Fortunately, the BlackBerry 8800 has included an option to move icons to your reference of position; so I could move the icons where it was possible to scroll. After reading up on this, I found that I wasn’t the only one with this problem. Ultimately, they need to fix this issue or else it might cause problems for the reputation of the BlackBerry 8800.
